Southwark Cathedral is conveniently located for the City, Canary Wharf, the West End and South Bank. Situated just three minutes’ walk from London Bridge station, the Cathedral is easy to reach from a number of main line and LT underground stations and also bus routes.

Metered Parking

Park Street. Pay at Meter or Permit Holders Only, Monday-Sunday 8am-6pm.

There are a limited number of parking meters along Southwark Street. There are also parking meters just off St. Thomas’ Street.

Most of the Council's machines operate between 8am and 6pm Monday to Friday with some in use on Saturdays.

Pay & display’ machines accept the following coins - 10p, 20p, 50p, £1, and £2. The machines are easy to use and simple instructions are on the front.

The maximum time you can park for is usually either 2 or 4 hours; check the information on the machine.

In the Congestion Charge Zone, free access for those with a disability (Blue Badge holders).

Most streets close by the Cathedral have single yellow lines.

Nearest designated Disabled Parking space is in Park Street

Bike signBicycle Parking

Bicycle parking is available just outside the Cathedral (opposite Borough Market), and two additional areas are on the Northside of the Cathedral, on Montague Close.

Alternatively, Stoney Street (opposite Vinopolis) is another option for those using bicycles.
