Spirituality

Spirituality involves the search for meaning and direction in life. From a Christian perspective spirituality has to do with the work of the Spirit within us, drawing us deeper into the life of God and leading us to act with God in the world.

There are two course for those who wish to explore this further:

Walking with God

A nine session course for people searching for a deeper life in God and a sense of focus and direction in the life choices they make. Areas explored include:

prayer and awareness in daily life
how we meet God in our work
discernment of individual 'calling'

Cost £30.00 for the 9-session module

God-Search: Explorations in Christian Spirituality

The God-Search course is in two parts:

The first explores some key questions and themes within the exploration of spirituality
The second introduces the writings of some spiritual teachers from the past and looks at their significance for today.

The courses take place in:

Spring 2009

St. Matthew's House [Croydon, close to East Croydon tram stop / train station] on Thursday evenings: 7pm to 9pm.

April 2

Summer 2009

Trinity House [London Bridge, close to London Bridge train and Tube station] on Monday evenings: 7pm to 9pm.

Dates are:

April 20, 27
May 11, 18
June 1, 8, 15, 22, 29

Cost £20.00 for each 6-session module.
