Diocese of the Northern Territory

This vast, isolated area of 1.35 million square kilometres where many places can only reached by air, has been a separate diocese since 1968. Kakadu National Park and Ayers Rock are two of the many unique features of the territory.
There are 14 parishes in the Diocese and the only Mothers' Union Branch was established in Darwin in 1980. There are also a number of small MU groups.
