Review of diocesan structures

The Bishop’s Council has set up a small group, chaired by Baroness Perry of Southwark, to consider the structures of the diocese as a result of the report of the Financial Task Group in 2009.

The group will produce a briefing paper for the new Bishop of Southwark that will outline various scenarios and options that the bishop might wish to consider.  The group will not be making decisions about changes to the structures.  The group has interviewed a number of people but also is keen to receive comments and suggestions from all parts of the diocese.

If anyone would like to make comments on the existing structures and how they relate to the work of the diocese as a whole, please send them to the Deputy Diocesan Secretary, Trinity House, 4 Chapel Court, Borough High Street, London, SE1 1HW or by e-mail to Andrew Lane by the end of September.
