The Provost and Chapter of Southwark Cathedral are inviting people working in the area to a Business Eucharist and Breakfast on the Wednesday in Holy Week, 19 April. The Eucharist begins at 8.15 am in the Cathedral and is followed immediately by breakfast served in the adjoining Montague Chambers.

Vice-Provost the Rev Canon Andrew Nunn says: "Southwark Cathedral is surrounded by a wealth of commercial offices and tourist attractions, as well as services for the local residents. We see this business Eucharist and breakfast as an important part of our own preparations in the final days before the great feast of Easter, and also one way of meeting with those who contribute to the life of our fast changing and vibrant local community. We know from experience that those who attend on these occasions also value the opportunity of meeting their business and community neighbours on 'neutral territory'."

Those who are unable to attend the Eucharist are still welcome for breakfast. A contribution of £5 is asked to help meet the cost of the meal.
