CHOOSING DIOCESAN BISHOPS

At a Dinner on Monday 19 November at 7.00pm at Southwark Cathedral the Rt Hon the Baroness Perry of Southwark, who was chair of the review group examining the operation of the Crown Appointment Commission, the body which nominate Diocesan Bishops, will be the After Dinner speaker.

Lady Perry will be talking about the recommendations made in their report, "Working with the Spirit: Choosing Diocesan Bishops" to the General Synod in July and how they arrived at their decisions.

The three course dinner will be held in the amazing new refectory, run by digby trout ltd, at the Cathedral.

Lady Perry is chair of the Friends but in her professional life is currently Pro-Chancellor at University of Surrey. She is a member of an extensive list of Councils, Committees, All Party Parliamentary Groups and Commissions.
