Archbishop Andrew Hutchinson at Southwark Cathedral

Andrew HutchinsonThe Most Revd Andrew Hutchinson, Archbishop of Canada will be presiding and preaching at the 11am Choral Eucharist in Southwark Cathedral on Sunday 25 June.

He will also lead a seminar on Tuesday 27 June entitled 'Stretching the bonds of affection - understanding the place of Canada in the Anglican Communion' at 7.30 in the Garry Weston Library at Southwark Cathedral.

Archbishop Hutchinson is the 12th primate of the Anglican Church of Canada and was elected by their General Synod in June, 2004. He is also Metropolitan of the Ecclesiastical Province of Canada and Bishop Ordinary of the Canadian Forces. (more)

He is the latest in a series of Archbishops to preach at the Cathedral as part of its anniversary celebrations in 2006 and he will be followed on future dates by the Archbishops of Brazil, Canterbury and Cape Town.
