Introduction to parish
St Mary’s (Battersea
Parish Church) is a piece of living history - a growing
congregation of diverse and vibrant people worshipping in a beautiful
Georgian Grade 1 listed Church on the banks of the Thames. It celebrates
in 2000 the 1200th anniversary of Christian worship on the site, and
understands itself to be a broad church, an intelligent church, a musical
church, an active church, an inclusive church, and a church for all ages. It’s a church you
are welcome to join.
