St Barnabas is an interesting building set on the hill in Purley.  Built in 1958, the architect being George Lowe and Partner of Croydon.  The complex consists of church and hall buildings.  The church structure is a concrete portal frame structure, with copper roofing and brickwork and glazed panels.
