Built: 1906 - 08
Architect: C Ford Whitcombe
Listing: not listed

This is a large Church of traditional layout with nave, aisles, chancel and undercroft. It was constructed in 1906-8 of red brick with stone dressings and (originally) slated roof slopes, and designed by C Ford Whitcombe in a Victorian Gothic 'Perpendicular' style, and while the exterior could be said to be somewhat plain, the interior is spacious and impressive, although simple.

Modifications have been made at the west end where two meeting rooms have been added, partly within the original envelope and partly without.
