Introduction to parish
The church was built in 1988 and shares modern facilities and site with the church school. The congregation is reaching out to serve the needs of a changing parish. Many young professional people have moved into the parish which comprises largely of Victorian terraces known locally as 'The Tonsleys'.
The tradition of the parish is both liberal and Catholic. We welcome members regardless of gender, sexuality, disability, race or the depth of faith commitment. The worship is characterised by lay involvement and families with young children are welcomed.

Details of Church

Built: 1988
Architect: Hans Haenlein
Listing: not listed
The church was completed in 1988 as part of a larger project consisting of a one-form entry Primary School with Nursery, an Adult Education Centre, a Youth Club and St Faiths Church replacing the former Victorian church and elementary school.
The church abuts the school hall along its eastern end and can be linked with this on special occasions by opening a double set of 6m wide x 2.5m high sliding doors which, in their closed position, offer an effective acoustic barrier.
