Kingston Deanery, one of the largest in the diocese, is virtually co-terminus with the Royal Borough of Kingston and takes in the three main centres of Kingston, Surbiton and New Malden. Its 19 churches contain congregations of 'all sorts and conditions'. There are positive signs of growth throughout the deanery and strong ecumenical links. There is a growing number of Korean congregations sharing Anglican church buildings. The deanery employs a lay administrator, who plays a vital part in its function.
