Coin Street
London
SE1

Built:
Architect: S S Teulon
Diocesan Record Office: London Metropolitan Archives

The church was bombed in World War II and replaced by a new church built in 1960.

Description

"St Andrew's had a gabled, German-looking tower and slated spire, which was quite a feature of the South Bank. It was bombed, and stood as an empty shell for some years. It has now been cleared away."

(from 'Parish Churches of London', Basil F L Clarke, Batsford, 1966)
