Content of Course:
Money matters in the middle of stipendiary ministry (15 years or more
to retirement)
Aims:
The day will look at a whole range of financial issues, including
savings, pensions, tax and mortgages, which are better thought about
sooner than later

Course intended for:
Incumbents who have been in their parishes for a while
Content of course:
To review what is needed to keep energised and engaged, after
ministering in the same parish for several years
Aims:
To be reminded of the initial draw and excitement of ministry in your
context.
To identify barriers to new possibilities and ways of handling them,
including further training opportunities
Learning objectives of course:
To be better able to articulate your values and gifts and to identify
at least one step towards building on them and using them where you
are

Course intended for:
Stipendiary clergy within 5-10 years of retirement.
Content of course:
Sessions with invited speakers including CofE Pensions Board and
EIG covering subjects relevant to approaching retirement
Aims:
To discuss finance, housing and other practical matters and to think
theologically about moving out of stipendiary ministry.
Learning objectives of course:
By the end of the session, participants will have been told about some
of he practical resources on offer and had a change to think about
what ‘retirement’ means

Direct talks and discussion
