2012 Olympics - a mission opportunity

In 2012 the Olympic and Paralympic Games come to London.

Some of the locations are within Southwark Diocese. Most of the other venues, like the main Olympic Park at Stratford, are very accessible from large parts of our diocese, and the Olympic authorities are encouraging local celebrations throughout the land.

These major sporting events are likely to have a significant impact on the life of our nation during next summer, and they offer unique opportunities for Christian mission and ministry.
