Nigel joined the AMT in 1997 following twelve years of parish ministry in North Battersea and Brixton. In addition to various training roles across the whole Diocese he has particular responsibilities in the Kingston Episcopal Area. These include organising the Area Clergy Study Day programme with Bishop Richard and the Churchwarden training with the Archdeacons. He also responds to requests from parishes and deaneries to provide specific training in areas like: effective PCC membership, leading intercessions in public worship, and small group leadership.

Children are at the heart of the life of the church and as such occupy a place of vital importance in the work and witness of the gathered community. Not all work with them comes easily however and there are many challenges faced today by children themselves and by those who seek to take children’s spiritual emotional and learning needs seriously. Advisory support is available to all those who work with children so please get in touch if you need to discuss your work with children or if you have particular training needs.
Children and Communion
Diane has a Diocese wide Advisory role on Children and Communion. If your parish is considering this issue or reviewing practice, please get in touch for advice and support.
Education, worship and nurture
Diane works with Clergy, Readers and leaders of children’s groups to develop the skills base for work worship and ministry with children.
Diane is able to offer support, advice and training in:
- children's spirituality
- working and worshipping with children
- all age worship
- Eucharistic worship when children are present
- Godly Play
- Children's Groups: issues, challenges and content
- leading children’s groups
- resources for work with children
- Church-home links and the nurture of faith in the home

PA to the Bishop of Kingston
Geetha joined the Kingston Episcopal Area Team as PA to Bishop Richard Cheetham in January 2009. She is very much looking forward to getting to know the people in the various parishes and getting involved in all the areas of the Bishop’s work.

Tina joined the Kingston Episcopal Area Office in June 2006 to work for the Archdeacons of Lambeth and Wandsworth. She very much enjoys all the contacts with the individual parishes and meeting the people who come to the office.
